Milky Way Galaxy Neighbor

In this case, I will talk about our neighbors in the universe. In fact, not only Milky Way Galaxy in this universe. There are Andromeda Galaxy, Triangulum Galxy and etc. The Andromeda galaxy, our Milky Way's closest neighbor, is the most distant object in the sky that you can see with your unaided eye — but only on a clear night from a location with a very dark sky.

The Andromeda Galaxy is a spiral galaxy approximately 2.5 million lights-years (2.4×1019 km) from earth. The diameter of this galaxy is 260,000 light-years, the mass is 400 billion solar masses and  has 1 trilion. The galaxy is a beautiful sprial, but one fact you may not be aware of.

While Andromeda is the largest galaxy in the Local Cluster it is not thought to be the most massive as the Milky May is thought to contain more dark matter making it the most massive. The Andromeda Galaxy is approaching the Milky Way at approximately 100 to 140 kilometers per second. Are you interesting to know more about Andromeda ?
