Lunar Eclipse

Lunar eclipse is sky events that is easy to observed. You just go out to see it, don’t need binoculars or a telescope or other special equipment to see it.
Lunar eclipse has no harmful effects when we see it with the naked eye, so you don’t need to use glasses.
A lunar eclipse occurs when the full Moon lines up precisely with the Earth and the Sun, and the Earth's shadow falls on the Moon. Greek astronomers had figured that out over 2000 years ago, and knew that the curved shadow on the Moon indicated that the Earth was a sphere.
A lunar eclipse occurs when the moon through directly behind the Earth to its umbra (shadow). This can occur only when the Sun, Earth, and Moon are aligned (in "Syzygy") exactly, or very closely so, with the Earth in the middle. Hence, a lunar eclipse can only occur at full moon night. The type and length of an eclipse depend on the location of the Moon relative to its orbital nodes. Unlike a solar eclipse, which can only be viewed from a certain relatively small area of the world, a lunar eclipse can be seen from anywhere on the night side of the Earth. A lunar eclipse lasts for a few hours.
